We have been learning about what makes a strong building through our inquiry based on the story
The Three Little pigs. Students have had opportunities to build structures using paper "straw", wooden sticks and block "bricks". We have discussed the words
stable, sturdy, floor, walls, windows, roof, door. We then made our own "Builder's Plan".
Students have had opportunities to learn through dramatic play in the "Construction zone" where they are builders as well as retell the story through puppets. We have enjoyed having students perform the play for us in class!
