Weekly Agenda June 15-19

Hello Kindergarten Families,
Can you believe in 2 weeks kindergartens will be our new grade one students! This has been one bizarre school year, but one things for certain I'll miss the kindergartens very much, especially since we won't have a proper goodbye! :(

Wrapping up the school year has meant the end of our farm inquiry. Below are a few pictures of students' brilliant work comparing animals similarities and differences.

Students have also been looking briefly at capacity (how much a container can hold). Kindergartens were given the problem where they needed to find a cup that held the most water.  Below is an example of one student work.

Have a beautiful weekend!

This past week students have been doing a great job with building a balance scale. I was truly impressed to see the different materials being used by some students! Below are a few pictures of the different balance scales created!

Here are a few students journals on animals sounds!

Next week we will continue to look at farm animals this time describing their unique characteristics and what they give (provide) us! Click on the image below for our learning agenda for next week!
